Makeover Monday

As busy mom's we don't have all the time in the world to get beautiful every morning like a Kardashian does. So I have some tips and tricks to make your morning/ afternoon and or night time preparations just a tab bit easier!

Morning:

  • If you shower in the mornings put your toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower. It becomes part of your daily shower routine and you wont be pondering "did I brush my teeth this morning?"
  • You have bed head but not enough time to wash your hair but want your hair to look better. Section hair into 5-10 big sections then braid each in a loose braid. Run a flatiron over each braid, let them cool down, spray hairspray and undo the braids.....Wave's in 15 minutes!

  • While your hair is cooling down start applying your makeup. Remember the basic essentials: Eyelash curler, Eye liner, Mascara and some lipstick or gloss. Those few things spruce up the natural look with less than 5 minutes to apply.
Afternoon:

  • Before heading any where take a swig of mouthwash and rinse. Clean breath and sparkling teeth.
  • Touch up your make up on the go. Always have lip gloss and eyeliner in your purse!
  • Has your hair lost luster throughout the day? Take and pull your hair to the side and put it in a lose braid, less than 2 minutes to do!
Nightime:

  • Going out for dinner and in a rush? Take your daytime look to night by applying a darker shade of lipstick, throw on some earrings and change your shoes! A little bit adjustments that take less than 5 minutes can do wonders!
  • Before going to bed at night time pick out your outfit for the next day. This is a life saving tip for mom's. Have all accessories, shoes, socks/pantyhose and clothing together so you aren't searching the house for your missing shoe in the morning!
  • Make up and utensils you plan on using the next morning take and sit together in a pile on your sink counter before going to sleep.

These are just a few tips for getting ready in less than an hour. As a mom I know getting the kids ready is already time consuming and I would rather my part take just a few moments because I'm already exhausted by time I need to get ready.

Next Monday I'll have more tips & tricks to try in less than 1 hour! Until then visit us on Facebook, www.facebook.com/mamastraumas
